Why did you invite Peter and Robert in this format?
Every year, Witzenmann organises an internal DigitalForum (DiFo), every two years with external speakers and partners and partners. In 2023, we wanted above all to make the topic of AI accessible to as many employees as possible at the Witzenmann headquarters in Pforzheim. It was a very good coincidence that I already knew Robert & Peter from the „Industrial AI Podcast“, in which I was invited, and from the masterclass ‘KI im Kloster’with Sepp Hochreiter. I was also attracted by the concept of ‘AI in the canteen’ because Witzenmann has a really large canteen where we could organise the format very well. We just like innovative formats!
What was the feedback from colleagues about the event?
First of all, we had a huge turnout on the day of the event with over 300 employees. Afterwards, we also published the podcast internally on our corporate podcast channel.The format was really well received. It was also the first time we had organised a live podcast. We reached a total of 400+ employees.
What experiences have you had with it?
We were cautiously optimistic as to whether such a complex topic as AI would be accessible to a very mixed audience (many workers, very different departments from the administration) in an understandable way. However, Robert and Peter have a lot of experience and can illustrate AI really well. A good loosening up was also helped by the involvement of our internal experts Dirk Feuerhelm (CIO) and Ramon Kahrsch (VP Operations).
